McCarthy, their prized No. 10 overall selection in the 2024 draft.<\/p>\n<p>McCarthy, now bouncing back from a meniscus tear in his right knee, spoke with Minnesota media Tuesday for the first time since his fall injury.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI know I\u2019m ready to start,\u201d McCarthy told reporters, \u201cbecause of all the work I\u2019ve put in and just the confidence in my skills and abilities and just being able to do my job. And to simplify things to the best of my ability every single day. And just to take it one day at a time, one play at a time.
