NFL fans around the country are excited to see how this year’s draft will play out.

With so many intriguing prospects to choose from, there has been a lot of speculation about the draft order and what prospects will land with each team.

One of the most talked-about players leading up to the draft is Shedeur Sanders, a prospect who seemingly has a wide range of outcomes as it pertains to landing spots.

Some believe he could be drafted as early as No. 2 overall to the Cleveland Browns, while others project that he could fall to a team in the back half of the first round.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have certainly been talked about as a team to watch if he does make it to No. 21, and Sanders recently indicated on Maxx Crosby’s podcast that he would be interested in playing there.

He was asked about his “Mount Rushmore” of duos in the NFL, noting that the combination of George Pickens and DK Metcalf is appealing for whatever quarterback ends up starting for them.

The Steelers have been mentioned as a potential landing spot for Aaron Rodgers, but the longer that this saga has gone on, the less likely it appears that they’re willing to pull the trigger on the veteran QB.

With that in mind, it might make sense for them to target Sanders, a younger athlete with upside that could thrive in a Mike Tomlin-led system, one of the most touted coaches in the league.
