The 2025 NFL Draft is nearly upon us.

After weeks of mock drafts and predictions, this three-day event will show who was right about the pre-draft process and what predictions went wrong.

Analysts and insiders might have some intel from teams around the league, but there’s no telling how organizations will react to how the draft board plays out in real time.

Experts like Mel Kiper Jr. do their best to predict what’s going to happen, using the information they acquire to put their best guesses and mock drafts out there for fans to analyze.

There has been a lot of buzz about running back Ashton Jeanty being taken at No. 6, the consensus top RB off the board.

Kiper is among the analysts who predict him to go that early, but he is also excited about another running back who could go in the first round to the Denver Broncos, as he mentioned in a recent appearance on Kay Adams’ show.

“Omarion Hampton is the one I feel very confident about at Denver at 20,” Kiper said.

Many people agree with Kiper that Hampton is the second-best running back on the board, but his values seem to be all over the map.

However, as Kiper mentioned, pairing Hampton with head coach Sean Payton could be a mutually-beneficial match, especially considering that they’ve lost running backs in free agency.

Javonte Williams, for example, has moved on to greener pastures, so it might be time to try again with a younger option that can hopefully provide a lot of value to this offense, assuming they go that way in the draft.
