The 2025 NFL Draft is just around the corner, and several prospects have dominated conversations leading up to this marquee event.
One of those prospects is Travis Hunter, the reigning Heisman Trophy winner.
Hunter has received a lot of buzz over the past several months, as many believe his game will instantly translate to the NFL, no matter what side of the ball he plays on.
His athleticism and career potential make him an intriguing option for any team in the league, which is why analyst Dan Orlovsky made a bold statement on a recent radio appearance on 92.3’s “The Fan.”
“He is sensational on tape. I would love for someone to tell me know he doesn’t become a Hall of Famer. He’s physically, remarkably gifted…unbelievable ball skills, instincts,” Orlovsky said.

Calling Hunter a potential Hall of Famer before he has stepped foot on an NFL field might seem premature, but this is how highly he’s been touted during the pre-draft process.
Not only is Hunter said to be more than NFL-ready, but there’s a belief that he will dominate from the jump and be every bit as explosive and exciting as he was in college.
It will be interesting to see what team selects him on draft night, but if Orlovsky’s feelings are correct, there’s no telling what his ceiling will look like when he gets to the league.
Fans are anxiously awaiting to see where he falls, and thankfully, they don’t have long to wait.
Hunter will be attending the draft in Green Bay, where he’ll also wait and see where he ends up and has an opportunity to showcase his talents.
